Privacy policy

MarTechRadar.ai ("we", "us") runs martechradar.ai, an independent directory of AI marketing tools. This policy explains what data the site collects when you visit, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect
Readers are never asked for personal data. The site has no accounts, comments or newsletters, and search runs entirely in your browser: your search terms are not sent to us. The only form is the optionalvendor submission form used by software companies (see item 4).
We process data in only four ways:
- Hosting and security logs (Cloudflare). The site is served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. We do not use this data to identify you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Usage analytics (Google Analytics 4), only where permitted (see "Your choices"). Google Analytics tells us which pages are read and how visitors find the site, so we can decide which tools to review next. It collects data such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate location (country or city, derived from your IP address), device and browser type. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalisation, and analytics data is retained for 2 months. Google acts as our processor; seehow Google uses data from sites that use its services.
- Email. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and, for vendors, to process correction or removal requests. We keep this correspondence for as long as we need it to handle your request.
- Vendor submission form. If you submit or claim a tool on /submit/, we store your name, work email, role and the product details you enter in Cloudflare Workers KV. We use them only to verify that you represent the product, to fact-check the listing and to contact you about it. Product facts you submit may be published after editorial verification; your name and email are never published. We keep submissions for up to 24 months; email us to have yours deleted sooner.
Cookies
We use no advertising cookies. If analytics is on, Google Analytics sets these first-party cookies:

Your consent choice is stored in your browser's local storage (mtr_consent), not in a cookie.
Affiliate links. Some outbound links are affiliate links (see ouraffiliate disclosure). When you follow one, the vendor's site may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. We receive no personal data about you from vendors.
Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)
- Analytics: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time.
- Hosting and security logs, email replies and vendor submissions: our legitimate interests in running a secure website, answering messages and keeping listings accurate (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Your choices
- Analytics on or off: use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer at any time. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked first, and analytics stays off until they accept. If you reject, the Google Analytics script is not loaded.
- Browser controls: you can block cookies, or install theGoogle Analytics opt-out add-on.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. Emailhello@martechradar.ai and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
International transfers
Cloudflare and Google may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Both rely on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
Children
The site is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
